River Day at the Upper Clavey

Hello Steem! Hope everyone had a good weekend! Joleen and I went to one of our favorite swimming spots this weekend, camping on Friday night and enjoying the river all day. This spot is located about 45 mins from our house, in the middle of the Stanislaus Forrest, and is made up of many granite pools of varying shapes and sizes. We like to walk up stream to a nice pool at the top that kind of looks like an infinity pool--the water seems to disappear off the side! If your feeling brave, you can water slide down into the next pool.

The dogs also love this spot because there are lot of smaller and shallower pools that they can wade in. Overall it was a nice relaxing day, despite the masquitos, bitting flies, and a mild sunburn!
