I caress your silences
I caress your silences, savouring your absence,
in the sad and endemic loneliness that my soul feels.
I drink the distilled voids, shadowless of your essence,
while the clock of life increases its movement.
A cumulus of reminiscences covers the thresholds,
where pain nests in the heart of time.
Sighs escape in flocks through the ventrils,
burning the places of my breast, their fire I do not avoid.
In the twilight I caress the lack of your embrace,
savouring the absence that grieves my soul.
I drink the emptiness without your shadow, in a rapture,
while the hands of life do not throw their gait.
