Make your own Kale Chips

Savory, yummy and healthy...and so easy to make :) I'll show you how to do it!
Kale chips have become increasingly popular in Germany and began showing up in organic supermarkets. However, Kale, in Germany, is a traditional winter dish, and therefore so difficult so find any other season. When I do spot it, I immediately buy it and add it to salads, prepare it as a side dish for barbecues, marinated in barbecue or teriyaki sauce (so good!), or make kale chips! :)
And here are my kale chips!

Ingredients

  • Kale (I went for Cavolo Nero aka. Black Kale)
  • Olive Oil
  • Sea Salt
  • Pepper

Optional:

  • Paprika Powder
  • Nutritional Yeast

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (375°F)

  2. Wash Kale

  3. Remove the Kale's stem (you can compost it or freeze and add it to stews and other dishes later on)

  4. Cut kale into small pieces

  5. Marinate kale with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika and nutritional yeast and massage in the ingredients.

  6. Spread the kale onto parchment paper and put it into oven for 5-8min.
(I didn't take a picture of the kale on parchment paper... I was too hungry) ;)

  7. ENJOY!

Hope you liked this post! I would love to get some feedback from you. Is there anything (vegan) you want to learn how to make? Jam, salsa, pies, protein bars? Let me know! :)
