Introducing myself and my art!

Hello there!

I'm starting in steemit and this is my #introducingyourself post, where I'll talk about myself and my art.

First of all, you can call me Cher (nice to meet you!).
I´m a 20 years old illustrator and student in the last years of graphic design (or so i hope).

I'm from Venezuela and I live on an island called Margarita.
I like the night, the beach and the sea, rainy days, sunsets, adventures, music and art events and MORE THAN EVERYTHING the food and the desserts
(I am a faithful believer that the food is the key to the heart)

About what I do and what I want to dedicate myself to, I have 5 years developing my style as a self-taught illustrator.

In my illustrations, I like to capture femininity in different ways from my point of view and my own experiences, based on my own feelings and personal thoughts.

I usually make illustrations in sketchbooks and cardboard, I also like to use collage in many of them with small sentences that I write, which have background stories.
I use materials such as ink, watercolors, craft paper, paintings and yarn.

I like to sew my illustrations, I feel that it creates a bond between them and I as an artist, it is sometimes the touch that ends adding my feelings.

I also have photography as a hobby and I usually write from time to time, so when they told me about Steemit, I thought it might be a good idea to open up and share a bit of my little world around here.

It is not much for now what I have to say but I hope you like it and I can continue to share more of what I do and think about here.
