Is there a Steemit CDN API

Hello fellow Steemians! I'm looking into using Steemit on my website and the only thing I can think of doing is iFrames! I would love to host a full node but my VPS barely has 1GB of RAM and so I'm desperately in need of a CDN or RESTful way to access the API if I want to use the features of the full node.

Steem-JS seems interesting but I don't know whether it supports the same features, and if it does I assume it still needs the installation...
