Bio-briquette

As an alternative to firewood bio-briquette can be well used as cooking fuel material. It can be made out of garbage small tree trunk and dried leaves thereof. It generates much heat for longer time than burning firewood or leaves. ICIMOD tried to introduce it in the Chittagong Hill Tracts in early 2000 through local NGOs.
