Shantiniketon

Maharshi Devendra NathTagore established the Shantiniketon in India in 1862. His son and Nobel prize winner poet Rabindranath Tagore expanded it and transformed it in to university. Instead of holding classes in buildings, he trended to take place them under the shade of trees to be much closer to the nature. Bakultola is one of them where different classes of Shantiniketon are held.
