Fungus Among Us

One of my many fascinations in my paintings and my hiking life is mushrooms. Traveling and now living in the Pacific Northwest has only fed my mycelium craze. I'm just starting to learn the names of all of these amazing specimens, but just looking at them and appreciating them has fulfilled me for now. I'm also currently reading Mycelium Running by Paul Stamets. He's one of the gurus on the subject on the importance of mushrooms in our lives.
The pics below are a few of many that I've taken while hiking through the PNW. Feel free to identify them in the comments if you're a myco fanatic too.
