Splinterlands Art Contest Week 183! / River Hellondale

Hello again fellow Splinterfans! I am still studying and learning more about pixel art animation and have been practicing hair and clothes movement so I decided to try iton this week's art contest.

I have been reading the lores of the Splinterlands' monsters and summoners, especially with the chaos legion cards recently. I find the story so interesting that I plan to make my personal animation of the story soon. I know it may take a while but I hope you guys will like it.


So enough blabbering lol.

For this week's art entry, I present you my animated River Hellondale!




To start, I make a block figure of the character. First with the head then the body.

Then made a rough figure of the hair.


Then I start working on the face.



Added a bit of shading for the initial details.



I tend to change the colors from time to time to see the color that I like.



I hide the hair layer so I can work with clothes and hand.



Polishing some details.



Added a background and a bit of animation to make it feel more alive.
