Could you please add a basic documentation?

I'm very interested in electromagnetic waves and I would like to modify your software to be able to transmit electromagnetic waves in specific shapes and then look at them with a software defined radio.
But without a single comment I find it very difficult to understand what the program is doing although I know C++ quite well...

So is it possible that you @markondej (or anyone else) could write some comments into the source code to explain what the basic functions and variables do?

In my special case it would of course be good to know how for example to change the amplitude and the frequency of the electromagnetic wave directly.
