기분 좋은 아침 상입니다

설날, 이렇게 온 가족이 모인 것도 참 오랫만입니다. 물론 몇년에 한 번은 모이고, 차례 지내고, 성묘를 가는 일상적인 행사는 하고 있습니다만 이번 ‘설’은 어쩐지 훨씬 풍성한 느낌입니다. 차례상도 같고, 사람도 그대로고, 장소도 변하지 않았는데 말입니다. 아! 바뀐 것이 하나 있네요. ‘말’이 많아졌습니다. 조카들이 부쩍 커버린 느낌이네요

재잘재잘, 즐거운 이야기가 넘치니 별일 아닌 이야기에도 생기가 도는 아침입니다. 지난 해까지는 말 수가 없던 조카 녀석은 본인의 고민을 무려 한시간 동안이나 이야기 합니다. 들어주기만 해도 충분한 시간입니다. 제가 해 주는 말은 영양가 없겠지요. 그냥 들어줄 누군가가 필요했을 겁니다
