Dead Gator

This is a dead alligator that was in the Hillsborough Canal.

My brother and I decided to come try and fish the Hillsborough Canal, and we came across this guy during our day of fishing:

This alligator had to have been dead for a while already because his stomach was bloating and he smelled awful. There was definitely a disgusting rotten smell in the air around him.

I got a littler closer than planned while trying to get a picture because it was so windy, and we ended up getting a little bit better of a smell than we were trying to get as well.

It was a very fun day, but it is scary to think about about how many of those huge gators are down below while I am on a kayak.
