BTC the new NPT?

In a world where currencies are Weapons of Mass Destruction,
and currency manipulations are beginning to look like tactical nuclear attacks,
(the populations bearing the brunt of the toxic/lethal side effects of course),
can Bitcoin become the new Non Proliferation Treaty?
