Hi All, Sharing with you my latest drawing 'Forward'. Getting caught up in our every day craze, we tend to forget everything is temporary. So whether you're going through a rough patch or the happiest you've ever been, embrace the day, embrace the lessons and try and always look forward. For some, it may be forward to a better tomorrow, for others it may be for moments worth never forgetting.

In this particular drawing, I was torn with how to convey my message so I ended up with a few variations. I'll be sharing with you all a part 2 to this post with the other piece I was working on in my next post so keep an eye for it and you all can give me your feedback.

Started the sketch with some light hatching mostly to lay out where I'll come back to fill in shading for form. I rarely do a simple line layout. I like to shade as I see the figure come to life to help me see the final product.

After I'm done with the pencil drawing phase, I bring into Photoshop to work in the background.

I continue to add and subtract lines and definition with my mouse as I go, and finally end with blending into the back and adjust any lighting for more intensity.
