Very good questions! ( all of them.)

Let's cover these one by one.

1. If your follower doesn't have a post to comment on then you would be forced to skip over them. We need to keep the process standardized so as to have a measurable result.

2. Yes. That is indeed correct. We are taking readings off your follower list in order to gather the most accurate metrics that we can as to your network vitality and the Hive Blockchain's well-being as a whole so 1 #Ping per. follower and only 1 #Ping back can be recorded in the system. As well... It is fine (of course) if you would like to have an extended conversation with your follower! Connect away! But it should also be noted... Say you #Ping your follower and they do not respond back. Leave things as they are. Our goal is to warmUP our follower list not burn them out. So as a policy... only 1 #Ping per. follower, if they #Ping back then let natural conversation flow, of course!

3. These people are your followers! Please feel free to engage with them as you normally would, be that questions, comments on what you learned from their post, whatever you like so long as it's done in a genuine and sincere way!

4. Most certainly! I can do that! I'll give you an example right away!

Hi @ziabutt3836! If you look above 👆 You will see the correct formatting for a standard Mission Report! All that's required is the appropriate red symbol code and the link to your followers post that you #Ping'ed!

In the above example my follower didn't #Ping me back (yet) so for demonstration purposes I thought I would show you what that looks like!

Please note...

It is probably best to wait and give your follower enough time to #Ping you back before reporting to this post. The reason being is that you can only report once per. follower! @Comet.Ranker's systems are only designed to write Mission Reports into the computer once and only once!

This is the reason you should take the time to copy and paste your follower list into your own document so as to keep track of who you have already #Ping'ed and if they have #Ping'ed you back yet!

As soon as you get a #Ping Back you can report your #Ping Mission immediately to this Category 1 post as you have successfully converted your initial #Ping!

If I had waited for my follower to #Ping me back (and they actually did #Ping me back) before reporting back here to @Comet.Ranker HQ this is how the Mission Report would look:

Thank you for telling your friends about Operation #Ping! There are actually 2 boost features that (prior to Operation #Ping’s launch) could have been activated to get Comet Tokens for directly sponsoring people but now that we are green for go the SignUP window is now closed for that boost (and for further signUP’s).

But that doesn’t mean there won’t be more engagement events hosted by @Comet.Ranker! Their certainly will be! 👍

You bet! Are you saying this because the Hive Engine prices for Comet Tokens are at 1 Hive? If there is a way for you to find a way to purchase a Comet Token that’s going to earn you quite a bit more Comet Tokens once you activate Boost 1. Just figured I would let you know!

Another option would be if one of your followers is also competing in Category 1 and they Activate Boost 2 before they directly #Ping you. Once you #Ping them back you would actually get a Comet Token in that way being able to then Activate your own Boost 1.

Don’t know if this makes any sense to you but I figured I would attempt to get you thinking outside the box in terms of the gamification aspects that the Comet Tokens add to Operation #Ping! 😉

Now here’s the next step you will need to take to activate Boost 1. 👇

1. Log into Hive Engine using your Hive credentials: https://hive-engine.com/?p=market&t=COMET
   👆 This link will take you right to the market where you can buy a Comet Token.

2. In order for you to buy Comet you must first transfer the 1 Hive over to Hive Engine by clicking on the 'deposit' button. (Note: Hive is called "Swap.Hive" once it drops onto Hive Engine and there is a 1% fee for the transfer.)

3. From there just put a buy order in for Comet at the 1 Hive price!

4. Once you have done that all you need to do is transfer the 1 Comet Token to @Comet.Ranker. (If you need instructions for doing this part just let me know... but it is really a pretty user-friendly process with only a couple clicks!)

Once we have received the Comet Token to the @Comet.Ranker account and the corresponding comment directive on the official 'Boost Bank' post we will take care of everything on our end to activate Boost 1 and you'll start earning 1 Comet with every #Ping that you make during Operation #Ping!

Ok! You almost figured it out! Congratulations for getting moving your Hive onto Hive Engine! The rest is actually very easy.

All you need to do is click over to the Comet Token's market. Here's the link:

Scroll down and on the left hand side of the screen you'll see the 'Buy Comet' function.

That's where you input how much Comet you would like to purchase and for what price!

The going rate is 1 Hive per Comet Token.

Once you have bought your Comet just transfer it to the @Comet.Ranker account to finalize activation of Boost 1.

I hope that this is easy and works for you but if not you can always ask for my assistance. I'll do my best to "show you the ropes!"

It's pretty easy and smooth once you get it... But basically it's these reports that generate value onchain. This way it's all viewable and confirmed on the blockchain for everyone to see and it's a lot more fun that way! 😉

P.S. About the new red ❌ symbol! (You might have noticed this on a previous Mission Report you attempted to register with @Comet.Ranker.)

This means that I wasn't able to process the #Ping Mission you registered. This is because at the time of Sign-Up a follower list screen capture is done and your follower list is then moved into the #Ping database. This is likely a new follower (Congratulations!!!) so the system did not recognize them. Buuuuttt next time we have an Operation #Ping focused on your follower list they would be!

Yes! That is a good question!

The #Ping protocol is one that runs from one end of your follower / passenger list to the other.

You had the initiative, a month ago, to check in with this person... It would mean even more if you were to double back to make sure this person is doing alright!

These are really tough times for many people... and if this person is still alive (at some capacity) on the blockchain I'm certain they will really appreciate you checking in on them!

Even if they are no longer on the blockchain... maybe one day they will return and there will be your thoughtful message waiting to welcome them back!

So YES!!!

#Ping this person! They need it more than anyone else I think... It might even be the critical contact and connection they needed to feel revived and re-invigorated in their social here.

Exceptional always comes from the extra we are willing to do!

And that's what I have been seeing in your efforts to connect and engage!

That's ok! You did your part right!? That, in the end, is what counts. It's the intent behind the action that makes this level of engagement authentic (or not)!

So we are right down to the wire (almost) with a little less than 35 hours left for Category 1 to Report their #Ping Missions! If you would like to wait and see if their are signs of life from this follower / passenger that is certainly alright to do. But if your feeling like just leaving the message is going to be good enough and things are getting to tight for time send in the report with a red box as your code identifier.

It is only possible to report missions once as the system will not over write what has already been recorded so make sure your alright with this before sending in any single #Ping Mission Reports.

As well!

I should probably tell you... If you activate Boost 1 (it costs 1 Comet Token and can be purchased on Hive Engine here: https://hive-engine.com/?p=market&t=COMET) then you will receive 1 Comet Token with every #Ping you do during Operation #Ping!

As well! If you activate Boost 2 any of your followers who #Ping you Back will also get 1 Comet Token!

Activating both of these Boosts will cost you 2 Hive (to buy the Comet Tokens) but it's totally worth it because you will get lots more Comet Tokens this way and spread some social capital to your followers as well!

If this is something you want to do you can find out more about the Boosts and also activate them by leaving a comment on the official Boost Bank post!

So! I just wanted to touch base with you all as we are getting close and the Category 1 window for reporting your Mission Reports will be closing soon! In 31 hours 3 min. in fact!

Now is time to rally and give your engagement efforts one last push! You got this and your all doing G.R.E.A.T!

Your going to want to start reporting your single #Ping's at this time... Unless you think that your efforts would be better spent directly #Ping'ing followers / passengers that you haven't managed to get to yet! Some of those might be #Ping Backs and your going to want to focus your energy there!

So what are single #Ping's?

Those are those Mission reports with the single red symbol (🔴 or 🟥) meaning this was a follower that DID NOT #Ping you back (for whatever reason).

It's important that you report these #Ping Missions back to this post as this will allow our computer systems to fully assess the well-being of your Hive account and that of the wider Hive Blockchain!

This aspect of Operation #Ping is absolutely VITAL! 💯

And because of that... I want to also tell you about how you can use Boost 1 (and Boost 2) to reward your #Ping's past what you are currently doing! If you haven't activated Boost 1 (or Boost 2) yet I highly recommend it!

By spending 1 Comet Token (This is what each of these 2 Boosts cost.) you will have the opportunity to earn 1 Comet Token with every #Ping you send out into the Hive Universe!

Additionally, activating Boost 2 will serve as a way to build your social capital by giving your followers (the ones who #Ping you back!) 1 Comet Token for every #Ping they return.

Yes. These are fine.

The #Ping Badge represents a dynamic number and also acts as confirmation that your Mission Report has been received.

Because single #Ping Mission Reports do not earn you a #Ping Back score the dynamic badge stays at the same count although your #Ping Mission is still UPdated to the @Comet.Ranker computers AND you receive a Comet Token for your efforts! (Because you Activated Boost 1!)

So yes! This all checks out fine and is in our systems correctly!

Just a quick check in as the Category 1 window is closing soon!

I noticed that you made a little mistake in this Mission Report's red symbol coding. Because madushanka didn't #Ping you back this only counts for a single #Ping (so only 1 red symbol).

As well... I think it's fine that you naturally added the second #Ping to fill in something you forgot to mention in the 1st one but please keep in mind that we this is a 1 #Ping only Operation! 😉

That's actually a simple fix and opens up a whole new world (Once you deposit Hive onto Hive Engine you will even be able to buy NFT's from @nftshowroom for example!) so I am excited for you! Learning this one thing is going to make Hive an even richer and more fun experience for you!

Just log into Hive Engine:
https://hive-engine.com/?p=market&t=COMET (This link will take you to the Comet Token Marketplace.)

Then at the very top of your screen you will see the 'deposit' button. It's going to cost a 1% fee to have your Hive transferred over to Hive Engine but this is where all the 2nd Layer Tokenomics come into play and it's the 1st step to buying Comet Tokens!

Next your going to scroll down and look to the left of the screen. That's where you will be able to the buy your Comet Tokens! (And after that don't forget to transfer them to @Comet.Ranker to have your Boosts Activated!)

Yes! Another great question @ziabutt3836! I did notice a number of #Ping's converting over to Double #Ping's after the Category Windows had already closed.

I, of course, would like to provide the most accurate and complete picture of each Commanders Social as I think this will also serve to provide the absolute best view on how well social is doing on the Hive Blockchain as well!

There will be a coming UPdate about this...

But it will come AFTER the winners have been announced for Operation #Ping.

We need to keep the 7 day competition as fair as possible for the Commanders with the larger and smaller follower counts. The only way to do this is to confine the registrations (for the time being) of #Ping Missions to the initial 7 day period.

Good job connecting with those followers! Keep that up and you will continue to heatUP the connections around you and THAT is how things change for the better on this blockchain!

But ultimately it is possible for every one who participates in Operation #Ping to win Comet Token! ☄️

There aren't very many opportunities to get Comet (and if you check Comet is actually pegged to the price of Hive: 1 for 1.) so every Commander has the opportunity to win in relation to the effort to engage during @Comet.Ranker engagement events!
