Crypto Currency Madness

Hey guy I'm writing you from Kona, Hawaii which is located on the Big Island and i'd really like to get some other perspectives on this question that i've been asking myself for the last few days.

What makes you believe a certain crypto currency will experience the type of growth you're looking for?

I've literally been on the web for the last three days straight trying to figure it out and along the way I've found a few different ways to evaluate that have made a lot of sense however I'm still looking for other opinions. Please Drop your ways of evaluating below in the comments. Thanks!
