U2 Bad July 13, 1985

A mulleted Bono beckons 15 y.o.Kal Khalique of Hampstead, North London to crowd-surf over to him, saving her life in the process, because she later stated that the crowd was overwhelming & crushing her, and the two slow-dance in the mud in front of a packed Wembley Stadium. A genuinely touching moment, it's a time-capsule gem from when the singer's grandstanding was most potent. This version of BAD actually carried on for another 3 minutes or so with Bono coming back on stage, and was recorded ( in audio only), but because broadcasters switched to the USA side of the show - no video seems to exist. The full recorded audio version to my knowledge, has only been broadcast twice on radio (BBC Radio 1). Pity the full version isn't available.
