Winged Eyeliner :-)

Eyeliner may seem like a simple makeup product on the surface, but if you dig a little deeper you will discover some interesting history, modern day developments and alternative uses and techniques for the humble eyeliner.

Winged eyeliner can be worn on both top and bottom lash lines—at the same time! Choose two contrasting colors for an edgy makeover and read this tutorial for instructions.

  • Start the liner close to the lash line, and then build out your wing as much as you please.
  • Tilt your head back slightly and look down when applying liquid eyeliner to the upper lash line. This will help prevent the color from smearing. And if you’re using a wet formula, allow it to dry for a few minutes before moving on to the lower wing.
  • Have pointed q-tips handy, they’re great for touching up small mistakes.

You can take an idea from this close picture of my winged liner :-)
