 ### *Gun Force was released in 1991 by Irem Corp.for arcade machines.Also known as GunForce: Battle Fire Engulfed Terror Island is a side-scrolling run and gun.The game was ported by Bits Studios and released by Irem for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1992.The sequel, GunForce II , was originally known in Japan as Geo Storm.The player is armed with a gun that fires rapid-fire bullets. Any direction he shoots can be set in his direction, so the player doesn't have to hold the joystick in his direction. In addition to helicopters and cable cars, players can find motorcycles to traverse enemy territory more quickly.After passing any high score, whether they win or lose, players can enter their name in the top score list after "reaching" the game's end screen . A strict time limit keeps the game moving at a steady pace throughout; the consequence is loss of life.*
