Hey hey Steemians! This is my #IntroduceYourself post. Hope I'm not late to the party 🎉

What can I say about me... Trying to find balance in life. I'm interested in all things interesting. I'm open to all #conspiracy theories even if they're contradicting each other.

I'm actually here because of @DaniArnold of the #Unfuckers. Thank you! We're all trying to ditch Farcebook.

I'm passionate about technology and I'm fortunate enough to make a living from it. I'm using Python since 2007 and Node.js since 2013. I worked with Ethereum crypto when it launched in August 2015; I actually mined 20 Ether on my laptop back then and I lost my private key when I formatted my laptop (it's a true story). I was part of the Akasha project for 9 months (it's a blockchain social network similar with Steemit). I'm actually not interested in crypto currencies anymore, it's way too much hype right now...

I don't have any nice little programs to brag with, as a software developer... yet.

But I'm working on my own thing since 2009. It's called Trinkets and it's a general automation... thing. Like a virtual assistent, but dumb. It has nothing to do with "artificial intelligence", "synthetic intelligence", or any kind of intelligence whatsoever. AI is just another hype that I hate.
Trinkets is dumb. It's also really efficient, it works perfectly and it does exactly what you tell it to do.
I've rewritten it so many times it's insane... And it's still not ready yet... 😅

I have strong opinions about many things... Maybe I'll write about it if I feel inspired and motivated to do so. I like writing, but it takes time. I'm a perfectionist.

I believe that what we work shouldn't dictate what we are. My example: I work as a software developer, but that's not what I am. I'm way more than that.

I believe all humans should try to break from their mold. The schools, the education system form us into little robots perfect for working in corporations.

I believe that every human should study these 3 domains: science (defined by strict rules, measurable and repeatable), arts (expressing oneself uniquely and without rules) and esoteric (unseen, unheard, but felt in our being).
These 3 domains strike the perfect equilibrium, like a table with 3 feet. Take 1 feet and the table collapses.

I hate politics. Did you know that "polician" comes from french "politicien" and it literally means: "a person who makes politics a skillful and demagogic means of achieving personal interests"? Yep.

I'm a vegetarian.

I don't believe in diseases.

I think we live in a artificial simulation.

Here, I've thrown everything out there, hahaha 😂
