Community post
Hello Hive!

Hello! My name is Danny and among my online activities I have a blog that I use to help people find financial freedom through at-home businesses and entrepreneurship in general. I have decided to migrate the whole thing here to help add value to the ecosystem.
Hive is a wonderful idea and I like the thought of adding an entire full bodied set of value generation ideas to the blockchain instead of depending on old world systems and tech.
Decentralize all the things!
I hope to see you in the future and best of luck on all your endeavors!
Danny

Welcome to Hive @crowblique! This is @chillwithshanna from the @ocd (Original Content Decentralized) team. You just made your first post. Congratulations!
Here at Hive, we love to get to know new users well. The best way to start is to do an introduction post. Be creative in sharing information about yourself. You can add pictures, share how you discovered Hive or tag the person who invited you so we can thank them. Making an introduction post will help other Hivers get to know you and be comfortable in supporting your work. Don’t forget to tag @lovesniper @chillwithshanna once you have made your awesome introduction post!
We have a lot of Communities you can subscribe to which are all categorized based on interest or topics or you can check out the Communities Incubation Program. It is best to share your blogs in the appropriate community so they can reach the right audience for your work.
Please be aware that plagiarizing posts by using other people’s ideas or images is a major offense. Here is a useful collection of resources about how plagiarism and abuse is viewed and handled on Hive.
Here is a Newbie guide for tips and information about blogging here on Hive. If you have questions, you can hop into Discord server and we'll gladly answer your questions.
Happy Blogging!
Good evening Danny,@crowblique, welcome to Hive and to the [Be Entrepreneur] community (https://peakd.com/c/hive-140971/created).
I was going to leave you a comment to give you some suggestions for your presentation, however, the friend @chillwithshanna already left you the pertinent orientations, which are convenient to follow, so that your stay in the platform flows in harmony.
Likewise, we suggest you read and put into practice the community publishing guide

Hi Danny Hello on this mighty fine day and nice to meet you! I found your account because I got a message you are new, and because the beginning can be difficult I swung by with some tips.
You took the step to become a blogger and that’s great. I like to welcome you to the Hive blockchain and platform. A very extensive platform of fun and words.
As of now you are a hiver or newBee as we are calling ourselves. This moment is perfect to give some tips and help you get started.
Also maybe you used the #introduceyourself tag and more hivers come with tips and tricks so the first steps won’t be that difficult. Still take your time because we are so diverse it will take some time to understand and earn.
I was welcomed with good advice too when I started so here I am just returning the favour. I know that Hive may seem very overwhelming right now but don't worry. After a few blogs and write ups you will be a great blogger and contributor, just stay away from texts that aren’t yours.
A great tip is getting discord. Discord will for sure help you and get you talking to other hivers without going to comments on blogs. It’s free and quick and alongside hive very helpful to have. If you don’t have discord already view this blog:
https://youtu.be/OIqyPJQAgT4
If that’s is not your wish and you have any questions just ask your questions on any of my blog posts and I'll be more than happy to assist you with whatever questions you may have! I may know the answer. If not I will for sure know a hiver who does know the answer
Very important is to never give up any off your passwords , they are yours! Never give them up!!
To blog I use Peakd and Ecency .
Ecency also has an App , I use it and it is great, it gives you insight on what is happening in your account, and on my phone I am never behind on the things I want to see or read.
App is available for free for iOS and android.
For discord Ecency here is your free invite:

Maybe great to also join the terminal , the newbie help channel in Discord :
https://discord.com/invite/paeMUMkaXd
and visit @heyhaveyamet to visit more newcomers that onboarded hive.
That was it for now, Good Luck, Have fun and I wish you loads of writingsuccess on hive and see you around ! :)
GREETZ
Britt ❤️
Hey @brittandjosie, thanks for the nice greeting and great advice. I went ahead and made my introduction post like you suggested. I am curious though, why do you use Peakd and Ecency instead of Hive.blog? Is there something I am missing?
To be fair, I didn't know those 2 existed as blogging options. What do you like about each of them?
There are three and I use Ecency and peakd the most. Ecency you can earn points so that will help you build your account. I do use hive.blog in discord. But I have been here 5 years than you knappe how to use all that’s available, go discord and read all the information that is available for you
Thanks!
