My Hive Introduction Post - Meet Meeee!
Hello, everyone!
Thanks to @naisfarms , I'm new to this community and this will be a brief introduction. My friends call me Layo, and I'm the ladies' go-to hairstylist and make-up artist. And, just like my name implies, I like spreading joy and happiness to others around me!
I am presently in my senior year of university, studying history and international relations. I am a huge fan of art and history, with a special fondness for African history. Our culture and traditions are valuable assets that should be preserved. One of my favorite books being The History of the Yorubas: From the Earliest Times to the Beginning of the British Protectorate" authored by Samuel Johnson, firtst published in 1921. It gives an insight into the rich ancestry of my tribe!
I'm new to blogging, so I figure it's only fair to ask for some pointers on how to get the most out of this platform. My blog will focus on what I do for a living, which is primarily hairstyling, wig manufacturing, beauty make-up, and cosmetics in general. I'd appreciate some guidance in finding the correct community to join, given there are hundreds of them thriving on the blockchain. Check out some of my art below:
I enjoy watching movies and animations as well as visiting to interesting places, particularly those with a rich history, which is why I am looking forward to traveling across the world with my loved ones in the near future.
I'm excited to jump right into Hive and hope to make a positive impact on those around me, as I'll be sharing this with my friends to encourage them to stop wasting their data and time on platforms that don't reward them for their content.
As we all look forward to better days, my heart goes out to everyone who is currently displaced due to a tragedy or war! For the time being, I'll sign off, but you can count on me to return soon with my first blog! Namaste
