Dark Energy Theory

I have this weird theory on dark energy and what it is. Ok. So, you know how moving faster condenses space? Like the faster you approach the speed of light, the closer space between objects get? So If you start to slow down you will see space between objects expand. What if losing energy relative to other objects is the same thing as slowing down. So. Imagine you're god and you create 2 balls of mass. As soon as you create them, they start to lose energy and slow down relative to each other (even though they are at a stand still). Slowing down relative to each other makes them drift apart. Thoughts?

So basically, the universe is losing energy everywhere (sounds like anti energy right) and thus space between matter expands.
