Steemit.com What is it worth ? Part 1
A lot of us have ponder what is Steemit.com worth? Its easy to value a company like Google (parent Company Alphabet) or Apple or Facebook as they are all publicly traded companies.
All one has to do is look up the Market Capitalization online.
(For people not from finance its total number of outstanding shares Multiply by $ price per share which gives you what a company is worth)
- Google.com (Alphabet) is worth $668 Billion
- Apple is worth $759 Billion
- Amazon is worth $479 Billion
- Facebook is worth $445 Billion

Easiest thing to do is Google what is my site worth and you get all sorts of answers ranging from 71,000

For comparison sake Facebook will be the closest in terms of similar organic fundamental product (Yet steemit has added components like blockchain etc) . We can use Facebook.com as generic starting point.

I absolutely agree... the growth is a factor you can include in your Valuation analysis. In fact its one of the more important factor in valuation. Thank you for your reply.
