As a long time cryptocurrency and blockchain enthusiast and senior IT Engineer I would like to introduce myself and offer greetings to the Steemit Community. As I have been growing more tired and dissatisfied with the state of mainstream socialmedia (Facebook and Twitter I’m looking at you! 👀) I have great hopes that the Steemit community, and the model it has been building upon, will continue to grow and thrive, and hopefully, one day, dethrone the current sites that have come to do so much harm to the state of online privacy, world politics, and social discourse as a whole. Steemit is a great platform for all the people, this is not just for people how excellet writing skill has, the platform is open for all.
