Book Review: The Awakening - By Kate Chopin

Hey Steemians! From today i have decided to start another new series in which i will be reviewing a new book everyday! So stay tuned for the wonderful and new books that i will review everyday at your disposal. These Book will range from Inspirational and uplifting books that you should read.

This is a Great book that all of you should read. Especially if you are all Thriller with a mix of Romantic Book reader. This book is set in New Orleans and on the Louisiana Gulf Coast, nearing the end of the 19th century.

A brief summary of the Book: (Don't Worry no spoilers included :D)

Its a story of a young wife and mother, who falls in love with the son of a friend. It caused hate and dislike when it was first published on 1899, At the time feminism was not a ideal and hence a idea or way of living like so was not allowed. However, nowadays The Awakening is considered a Feminist landmark. The book is about the main protagonist Edna, who is on a journey of self - discovery. Including a lot of adventure and rebellious ideals.

The book explores the life of people in the 19th Century and the culture that women had to follow. Its a story about Edna's marriage and how she moves to New Orleans and find an entirely new life. Whilst discovering love and understanding the world around her.
