Why ZEST is not another Masternode coin?
Block reward allocation
Zest uses a fixed block reward of: - 80% to Masternodes - 15% to coinholders (POS) - 5% to The Zest FoundationKeeping a part of the rewards for the Zest foundation is a clever idea, helping to gather funds to finance future research & development and marketing.
Dedicated Masternode pools
One thing that make ZEST coin unique is the Dedicated Masternode pools. During Zest’s pre-mine 30 Masternodes were allocated (75,000 ZestCoins) 5 Pools: - Rapid Relief Pool - Scholars Pool - Accelerated Athletics Pool - Prosperity Pool - Club ZestThese Dedicated Masternode Pools allow ZEST to generate funds to support some dedicated external initiatives.
Each initiative (internal or external) are voted by Masternode owners.
Rapid Relief Pool
This pool aims to help citizens in emergency situations by allocating funds to global and local organizations capable of providing just-in-time support services. Ex: natural disasters (earthquakes, tsunamis, blizzards...), nuclear reactor meltdowns...Scholars Pool
This pool helps alleviate the costs associated with postsecondary education. Ex: books, groceries, monthly care packages, even pizza subscription ;)Accelerated Athletic Pool
This one aims to elevate athletes of all natures to the next level. Ex: funding practice times, building sport facilities, sponsoring youth sport tournaments...Prosperity Pool
This pool support nonprofits and charitable organizations that aim to further the public good and focus on quality of life for affected peoples and regions around the world. Ex: International NGOs, wildlife/environmental conservation & protection, medical research charities...Club Zest
This one is dedicated to sponsoring Zest Masternode Owners. Ex: Marathon, Triathlon, Extreme sports fees...Real people
Unlike many masternode coins with no real value, ZEST has revealed his team.
