Steemit is missing one critical feature that would be amazing and allow even more money to keep flowing and changing hands even more easily.

A feature called "Highlights"

Highlights should be implemented in the same manner that medium.com has implemented them and then allow these to be monetized as well.

Perhaps it could display a broken underline like Kindle does for "popular highlights" and then you could know where you can click and read any comments that have been left there and upvote or downvote as necessary. Would also be great for proofreading as people could highlight a misspelled word, correct it in a comment, then get upvotes for offering that proofreading service.
