There are CryptoPunks, CryptoKitties, CryptoCelebrities and now the most recent collectable ETH token pays homage to the 17th century luxury commodity that all the blockchain critics love to bring up. Thats right, let your friends ridicule you for buying that " internet funny money" that is as worthless as the Dutch tulip. Now you can bask in the glory of using blockchain to hold that hard earned fiat in such an outlandish form.
Buy some seeds
To get started you will need Metamask wallet installed with some ETH to acquire seeds. https://ethertulips.com/shop is where you purchase the seeds that will sprout into tulips. Keep in mind at the time of writing this they are priced at 0.015 ETH per seed and that doubles as time progresses. Once you have successfully purchased your seeds they will sprout into tulips here https://ethertulips.com/my_tulips
One tulip, two tulip, three tulip, WAR!
Their site says they will introduce battling, which leads me to speculate that different classes of tulips will be released at different stages. They already have a rarity system in place ranging from Very Common to Exclusive Secret tulip. This is what a lot of the collectable ETH tokens are missing, a game of some sorts that you can play, and utilize your tokens in an entertaining way.
Trading
You can trade your tulips right now at the site https://opensea.io/. Just log in with your Metamask data and you can auction off your prized possessions on the free market if you so choose. They will also have an official marketplace at https://ethertulips.com/marketplace in the near future.
