Hello world
After lots of deliberation about further fragmenting my digital self and starting on yet another social media platform, followed by researching much of the progressive tech & ample opportunities around Steemit, I've finally decided to give this a go and so this my first post here (of hopefully many to come) - Hello world! :)
Ever since Burak Arikan's amazing Meta Markets and User Labor initiatives in 2007-2009, I've wished and waited for more mainstream platforms built on these/related ideas, offering real benefits for creative people of all walks - not just financially, but also socially/politically/architecturally.
So, to mark my entrance in this community, let me offer up a fresh new track, spontaneously composed last night (+ free download btw.):
In future, expect more posts & discussions about my main interests (in no particular order):
- Open source - github
- Computational/generative art/design (thi.ng)
- Programming languages (mainly: C, Clojure, Forth, Go, Rust, TypeScript)
- Digital fabrication (3D printing)
- Blockchains
- Algorithmic trading / analysis (FX / Crypto)
- Embedded devices / software synths (STM32)
- Electronic music (of course) (Soundcloud)

I know that steemit may seem very overwhelming to you right now but don't worry. There's a learning curve to everything so just be patient and you'll be churning out posts and becoming a part of something great in no time!
Also if there are any questions that you may have, then just ask your questions on any of my blog posts or in a reply below and I'll be more than happy to assist you with whatever questions you may have! I will also be creating a basic starting out guide for all minnows and newcomers on my blog so do give it a read as that might help answer many of your questions!
