AERGO Architecture
Having worked with over twenty enterprises, Blocko designed an architecture that is very specific using the experience gained. This architecture is very flexible unlike Coinstack. Every blockchain has governance as the underlying framework. Most blockchains lack this fundamental framework. The backbone of the Aergo network is github-like public and permissioned repositories of Distributed Directories. Distributed directories are very similar to data dictionaries that are found in databases. Distributed directories store vital information and metadata. Since metadata is stored and managed by the distributed directories, they form compact blockchains.

The existing blockchain networks are not developer friendly. They also do not support interoperability. For Aergo, its core consensus depends on the distributed directory since it requires the metadata distributed data service for the nodes to find new blocks. Developers who use Aergo are will be able to exploit the many consensus modules offered like Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance and Raft to suit their needs.

Public and Private Repositories
