Frozen

These are some of my favourite winter pictures from last winter. Photos taken with my Sony Xperia X Compact in and around Oslo, Norway. Most of these are from one of the coldest days of the year, it was -23°C and actually painful to be without gloves just a few minutes to take the photos.. But the colours were so amazing that it was definately worth it!!
The winters can be harsh with the long months of cold and darkness. But the beauty of these short bright hours, when everything is sparkling, freeezing and crystallising around you are otherworldly. I would miss the extreme contrasts that the Scandinavian climate offers if I was to live somewhere else for any longer periods of time.
