Two Months

Today I'm reflecting on 60 days or so, or better said, exactly two months to the day since you left. Why wouldn't I reflect? I love you.

I just walked into your room and I assure you that your brain rot is still unopened.

I'm not sure what I should focus on in this reflection because I feel several things.

I am glad that it was only blood pressure which is for the most part under coontrol. If I had a more debilitating disease like Alzheimer's or dementia, you're walking out on me would have been lethal.

I do not push it and I do not try to do more than I should, which puts me a little bit behind on some of the things I would like to do. I have been taking care of small projects or tasks and repairs.

I have a lot of irons in the fire and much work that has not been done due to months iof not feeling well while getting my medicine to the right levels.

When you were here, as well as every minute of your life before you left two months ago, you always took priority over all the aims in my fire.

I defend you when I talk to your siblings because I know that this is something most go through when they're growing up but it usually hits between age 9 and 12.

Yes, you can say "No" to your father. You can also walk out the door with some of your belongings. But as long as I'm alive, I will be here for you.
