Thinking about my project...

So I have recently hired an artist to help me create a graphic novel. I don't want to make it too much like a standard comic book, but that seems like it would be the easiest thing to do. Maybe I can get some feedback from you all.

When reading a story do you prefer pictures on every page, or maybe one a chapter? Do you enjoy books with no pictures? Would you buy a comic book that was only 20 pages long?

What are some of your favorite stories? Maybe I can get some inspiration. Thanks for the help all!
