Open-source platform by china to boost Artificial Intelligence

On Saturday China’s minister of science and technology said that as part of a plan to make China a world-leader in this field by 2030 ,the government had made an open-source platform to boost the development of artificial intelligence (AI),. He said that providing an open-source platforms of AI , would help with its scientific development and help it quickly expand, allowing the creation of a new generation of AI.

In a press conference Wan Gang said to mark a session of the National People’s Assembly. “Open-source platforms are needed because AI make it easier for entrepreneurs to have access to resources, and can play a bigger role in development”

Promotion of scientific development and research has been a key Chinese policy, said by Wan Gang with increased state incentives and investment.
