Yes i guess its gout coz he says it is painful and he could hardly walk

Gout is caused by eating too much meat. If you stop eating too much meat it may go away.

Gout used to be referred to as "the rich man disease" since at one time only wealthy people could eat the amount of meat required to acquire gout.
