How to write a book?

Hi, folks!

Today I would like to give you some hints on the matter - how to write a book. I am the author, and maybe you will become encouraged to write something on your own. If not for publishing, maybe for yourself or your kids. If you have them.

1. Think of your main theme. Maybe you just got the basic idea. You can write the main points down. Or you can develop the story as you write.

2. The background of the story. Ask yourself - will the story be based on true events, that you are allowed to write about or it will be half-made up. Or you will dive into your imaginative mind and write 100% fiction. This will be your concept.

3. When you place your foundation right, you can start thinking about your characters. Remember, each one is unique and interesting. They will come alive based on your description.

4. Think of the style of the book. If you read novels, you know that there are different styles of writing. How the chapters blend, match. And determine your genre - fantasy, mystery, detective story or a love story. Plenty of themes to choose.

5. Be brave. Remember, it doesn't hurt to try. It could be a bigger regret not to write anything. Especially, if you know you have some talent.....
