My thought about segwit
They create some rumours, people will panic sell and they will buy it up and will create another to make people buy and they make their gains, and the cycle continues...... No doubt we will keep hearing this segwit, hardfork, madkok, doghead madness and the Btc will never split

I'm completely in the dark over all of this. I have noticed that my Bitcoin Core Wallet says "Warning: Unknown block versions being mined! It's possible unknown rules are in effect"
Segwit is literally the biggest improvement that could happen right now. The media is spreading false and misleading information all over.
There is no hard fork in August.
There is no chance of chain split in August.
Segwit has been around a long time and has been tested, it is not some new untrustworthy thing.
Segwit gives an immediate 70% improvement to bitcoin transaction capacity without any hard fork or chain split.
People have been buying up LTC because is implemented Segwit already. It is clearly a large positive thing.
Bitcoin is already rising and will go back to $3000 this year.
Let's wait and see how it goes.. time will tell August first is fast approaching
