Careers in Korea #4

Yongsan Electronics Market is the mecca for everything electronic in Seoul. There are about 10,000 stores (possible exaggeration) selling every imaginable item. Ranging from big name outlet stores to one-man stalls, you can find anything and everything you need.

During my time in Korea I spend 3 or 4 separate days just wandering around the market exploring, striking up a conversation with everyone I could. This particular shot is of a gent who I bought a lens from. I wanted a 40mm prime lens and had asked around at a few different stores for prices. I tested all the lenses I was offered, and as a test shot asked if I could photograph the stall owner. This gent duly obliged, and as the price was good, I bought the lens in question.

Below is the resulting photo. On my future visits to the market, he always gave me a smile or a wave.
