On the day of the wedding, it is an old tradition to give the couple (in particular the bride) a bottle of this seasoned cinnamon alcohol with 24-carat gold flakes inside. It is sold as Goldstrike at the liquor store. Whenever the couple quarrels, the bride must give the bridegroom a cup of that strong liquor as a reminder of the tears she wept on the day of the wedding. We got two bottles of that after we got married. You can find a homemade version at Van Kleef in The Hague, which is a super famous place that tourists visit to know how to make drinks. There he makes and sells drinks.

I love this drink because it can by things in it to take flavor. I put orange or ginger. It's delicious.
