Backlit sign prototype
This is study how this would work. I need to make sign that will be used in day as just sign and be backlit at night. So i have made small sign for me bcs its i need to see final result . I used polycarbonate again, just this time is enclosed in plywood with oak frame to completely close light inside and back is painted black from inside, logo is engraved into playwood and 0,5mm into polycarbonate, then spray painted with clear varnish. As light source I used white led strip.

Ini adalah studi bagaimana ini akan berhasil. Saya perlu membuat tanda yang akan digunakan di siang hari hanya sebagai tanda dan menjadi backlit di malam hari. Jadi saya telah membuat tanda kecil untuk saya bcs nya saya perlu melihat hasil akhir. Saya menggunakan polikarbonat lagi, kali ini dilapisi kayu lapis dengan bingkai kayu ek untuk benar-benar menutup cahaya di dalam dan di belakang dilukis hitam dari dalam, logo diukir menjadi kayu playwood dan 0,5 mm menjadi polikarbonat, lalu disemprot dengan cat pernis bening. Sebagai sumber cahaya saya menggunakan white led strip..
