Hello, I am here to navigate the murky and inexplicable world of data sharing. As we move into a full-on state of surveillance capitalism, our human experiences and personal private matters are up for grabs by large companies and governments. In a world where most people fear the automation of jobs and the advancement of technology, it's easy to overlook or entirely fail to comprehend the following darker truth: we are the ones being automated. We are the product.
Our actions and thoughts are being defined for us, herding us into whichever state yields the most profit; every click, swipe, and interaction is free game for those wishing to strip us of our personal being and ultimate free will. In this blog I will explore scenarios, both real and imagined, that help to paint a picture of this horrific reality.
