Introducing myself

Hi fellow steemians, my name is David Emmanuel, i'm from Benue state, Nigeria and currently and underguaduate of university of PortHarcourt.
Though i've been on steemit for a while now but i'm not really getting it( like not earning at all).
Maybe there alot more to learn but i'm not understanding it on my own.
Please, i need you all to assist me by telling me few things i need to know about steemit to be successful here.
