Another thing that many newbies to digital marketing or SEO seem to forget is that they should specialize in or two niches max.
These should be ones with high commercial intent. Be it for local SEO or international.
Also don't forget that the value of a sale or client should be high. Ie kitchen remodels earn more per customer than a restaurant.
So getting a company to pay you 5,000 a month for SEO is easier and more sustainable.
I don't recommend getting into Facebook advertising for clients. Did that and found Social media marketing to be more churn & burn.

One thing I forgot to mention when doing local or international SEO add a short , under 60 seconds, video telling people what the customer does. Put it on YouTube optimized for a long word keyword phrase with tags and address.
This helps Google maps and their website rank over time. If done right you can also get the video ranked on Google so it shows up on page one.
