Thought I dreamed of finally having a love ending in peace instead of flames. The ignition stopped just because I realized the truth.
I didn't think of what to expect when I confronted you. Didn't realise someone who was so good at hiding so much would suddenly just be bursting at the seams with truth.
I did what I could to try to get your attention but I could never do enough.
At the crux of it all, I didn't want to burn the bridge, I only lit the match but you sat and watched it burn because that is all u ever wanted. I just lit the match to try to illuminate our wrongs, I didn't burn the bridge between us. I never wanted this to burn all the way through, but I lit the match and you did nothing to stop it.
