Introduce yourself

Hello steemians, its so great to be here at last.
My name is Grace Okolo. A wife and mother of three -- two boys and a girl. I'll be celebrating my golden age by mid next year.
I graduated from the University of Ilorin, Kwara State in 1995.
I'm currently teaching at a private school after obtaining my PGDE. That's what I've been doing since graduation.

HOW I CAME ACROSS STEEMIT
There are many selfless leaders scattered across our world; you should thank your God if you find one. Well, I'm blessed to have found one.
I met @Eurogee for the first time on his AIOP platform. It was in prosperous days of ponzi when I was searching for a legitimate online business. I complained I didn't know how to use the computer ( what a shame! ). Did he ignore me? Definitely no! He encouraged me not to allow my inability keep me back from my pursuit. I IGNORED him. I followed him to EUROVERSITY LECTURE ROOM. Still I did nothing. I followed him EUROSTEEMIANS fro day one .
When my account wasn't approved, I wasn't bothered. You want to know why? Because listening to 'that voice' telling me that I'm a failure, incapable of achieving anything worthwhile, kept me in the cooler. Then there's the challenge of raising my kids. But then I met people who inspired me :@Zoneboy, @sweetest glo-eu, @Smyle, @adore-eu, @ewuoso, @drayjee, @bob eir @Timmeu, and @Aderonke, just to mention a few, to get up, put one leg in front of the other and get moving.

MY PASSION
The two things I really want and enjoy doing are preaching the gospel and acting in a movie. A major hobbie of mine is reading. Back in my school days, I wanted to study Chemical or Petrochemical Engineering but my father insisted on Medicine, being the first child to study science. But I bought into the lies that a Christian does not act in a movie unless she/ he's unserious.
I thank @sweetestglo for her encouragement but my heartfelt gratitude goes my amiable, selfless boss, Eurogee. I can't thank him enough. He's my motivation all along.
Finally I've decided to overcome my inhibitions . Now I feel like I'm following the footsteps of KFC founder -- going after my desires , my age inconsequential. I'll write, read and act in movies. I really believe I can do them and succeed.
My guardian angel, Zoneboy took upon himself to help me end my pity party. He's the reason I'm writing now. A cheerleader in his own class, he tolerated my imperfections, incessant messages and used his system to get me registered me . He's as patient as my boss, Eurogee. My gratitude to him for making this dream come true.
