My Introductory Post
Hello Everyone! I am excited to be part of the hive family. A friend @nsigo1 introduced me to this platform, all thanks to him.
I am Blessing Samuel, I have a not-so- popular nickname: Decency, maybe one day, I will tell a story of how the name came to be. I am a native of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, and the eldest of three siblings; one boy and two girls. I hold a Bachelor's degree in English and Literary Studies from Akwa Ibom State University.
I also hold a diploma in Mass Communication. As one who is keen on problem solving, I am building a career that is centered around Customer service; I am also passionate about humanity and kindness. I share life experiences and mental wellness tips on social media.
Asides from academics and career, I make beautiful female dresses, from bustier dresses to bubu gowns, corporate gowns, pants, and the rest. so, I do fashion business on the side. I am just a DM away!
In my leisure time; I watch movies, read, listen to music, write, meditate, and study the Bible. I love having a "me time."
Socially on a scale of 1-10 I would rate myself 5/10, I try but I am more of an introvert, I can be extroverted sometimes, but only with familiar faces. I enjoy spending time with friends and family. If I am left alone, I could spend a whole week indoors. Going out must really mean the occasion is special or very important.
One of my favorite quotes is "There is no such thing as a perfect time. Every time is perfect for anything we wish to do."
I believe in accountability. Once it is missing, I'm out! Be it in business, friendships, relationships, etc.

You’ve got a rather curious and interesting mix of skills. I can’t quite imagine how you went from studying English literature to designing dresses, hehe. By the way, I’d love to see your designs. I hope you’ll share some here. I could really relate to that bit about being an introvert around strangers and feeling comfortable without leaving the house. That quote applies to me too: finding a way to be content with where we are right now is the shortest route to personal fulfilment.
