Mikel Captains Middlesbrough
Nigeria superstar John Obi Mikel has received captainship role at his new club Middlesbrough as he captained the Championship side to victory over Bolton Wanderers. The match ended in a 2-0 as
Middlesbrough won in the Macron Stadium yesterday.
Middlesbrough haven't been on good form in recent games losing their last two matched but have now returned to winning ways yesterday as Nigeria international captained the side.
Middlesbrough first choice captain George Friend was absent from the game due to injury. Mikel just recently joined the Championship side this January from China and has commanded the respect of the club already given his wealth of experience.
