Guide lines for direct selling

Todays topic is on guidelines of direct selling. Bengaluru, Jul 26 (PTI) The Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industries of India (ASSOCHAM) today urged the Karnataka government to adopt and implement the Centre’s draft guidelines for the direct selling business.


At a regional conference on the topic ‘Promoting direct selling for developing entrepreneurship and job creation’ here, the speakers sought the government toadopt the guidelines so that the direct selling would push industry’s growth, spur skill development, and job creation.

In his address, chairperson of the ASSOCHAM Task Force on Direct Selling, Vijay Sardana said,” ASSOCHAM would soon undertake a research on the best operational model suited with the current policies for direct selling industry in Karnataka together with the realchallenges being faced by the sector and share it with the state government.” He noted that the Model Framework for Guidelines on Direct Selling were issued by the Union Consumer Affairs Ministry in September 2016.
This how Indian government supporting direct selling industry as it creates opportunity for everyone irrespective of their status, qualification, education etc.
