Cuban Old Timers

Very iconic picture that sadly do not represent the cuban reality at all.

Very common to see this guys going around Habana. Even when they are nothing original like they were maybe 50 years back or even more, made and maintained with different other car parts, they still look amazing and still run. Those are used like taxy for tourist mostly and you can see them parked in front of important hotels in Cuba, like National Hotel of Habana or Cohiba, and many others for all the island...
Is very hard to maintain this cars since importations of car parts are not possible. USA have big supply for this cars still but you could not get them in the country. The government (cuban regim) would not allow you to do that.
Its a long story but not a fun one...
